What are your rates ?
You can view our rates here. Clients wishing to process a significant volume of transactions should contact us for special arrangements.
 
Do I need a Merchant Account ?
No. If you sign-up for our services, you automatically receive a merchant account.
 
Do I have to place any forms or scripts on my web site ?
Yes. You need to copy two files on your server. It is a standard implementation procedure that is usually offered by online payment processing companies. L:Here you can find more details.
If you provide us with access to your server, we'll implement our service by ourselves.
 
How easy is the setup process ?
The setup (activation) process is completely free and your site can be ready for processing in as little as 24 hours. In some cases activation takes as little as 1 hour. There are no complex registration forms and we do not report your private information to outside parties! If you provide us with access to your server we will implement our service for you.
 
How often do I receive payments ?
We send payments weekly, each Thursday. Pay periods run Monday through Sunday. Payments are made three weeks in arrears, such that if you made .00 in a pay period ending on Sunday the 4th, payments would be sent on Thursday the 28th.
 
How are my payments sent to me ?
We provide a variety of payment options for your convenience including wire transfer, postal mail and FedEx.
 
Do you perform any kind of fraud screening ?
Yes. We use special analytic software, that allows minimizing fraudulent transactions and cut charge back rate.
 
What is a "chargeback" ?
A charge back is the process, where customer's bank takes the money that they paid us and retuns it back to the client. It may happen for numerous reasons. Since the sale is an Internet based transaction, we have no acceptable "proof of authorization" (according to the credit card companies.) Without a signed sales draft, we can not do anything. You will be able to see charge backs on a detailed statistic on our website.
 
Why would someone request the removal of a charge from their statement ?
If a customer can not find the "content" that they signed up for, they may refuse to pay. Some people may feel like they didn't get what was advertised. Others may simply feel that they didn't get their money's worth. Someone's sibling, child or spouse may have used their card without their permission. The card may have been stolen. There are many, many reasons.
 
What are the chargeback and refund fees ?
If we receive a chargeback or refund request for a transaction on one of your sites, we debit the pay period in which we receive the chargeback from the bank. The amount debited is equal to the price of the membership charged-back or refunded. Chargeback fee is , refund fee is . You can see chargebacks and refunds in your stats page in real time.
 
Do you have a holdback on commission payouts ?
Yes, there's a 10% rolling reserve for 6 months required for every webmaster account.
 
How do you work with transaction requests ?
We work with multiple processors and merchant accounts to provide maximal approving rate as possible. Our billing software optimizes routing for every transaction. Sometimes, in order to authorize client request, our servers contact the international billing systems on 3 continents and it may take 10-20 seconds.
 
Can your advertising program significantly increase traffic on my website ?
Yes. We inform all our advertisers about every new client who registers to participate in our advertising program. All you have to do is to enter the rate, which you agree to pay to our advertisers and provide us with set of banners.

How many websites can I have under a single account ?
Our clients may have as many websites connected to one account as they wish. Our system allows to centralize all account resources into a single account interface for easier access
 
Can I customize my application pages ?
Yes! The application pages are fully customizable. You may customize the pages to fit the design of your website. In order to do this, you must have knowledge of HTML/CGI programming. If you do not have knowledge of these languages, or do not wish to customize the pages you can use the generic pages that we provide. You will be able to switch at any time.
 
Do you offer any type of recurring billing ?
Yes, we do. You can charge an "initial fee" for the first time period, and then set a "recurring billing" price that is charged to your customer every month after that. What lengths of membership can I offer to my customers? You can offer membership lengths between 3 and 360 days.

Do you have a set pricing, or can I charge my customers whatever I want ?
You can charge any fee that you want, as long as it is more than 2.95 and less than 200.00 per transaction.
 
Can I change my pricing easily?
Yes. You can change the pricing of your memberships easily. You can add or remove membership lengths at any time simply by visiting our Webmaster Admin Area. It will show you how many sales you have made and how much you have earned. We also offer statistics on active memberships, expired memberships, and total membership sales you have to date.
 
Do you support "free trial " ?
No. Our study shows that using "free trial" is never effective for our clients. Most of the customers that sign-up for free memberships, do not prolong their memberships. In fact, if the free trial membership is setup in a way, that a recurrent billing occurs afterwards, the statistics show that it is more likely to result in a charge back. We recommend that you offer a low priced trial membership, such as "3 day trial for .95" instead.
 
Can I use 2KBILL ™ in conjunction with another billing service provider ?
Yes. You can use 2KBILL ™ service in parallel with another billing service provider. Our Technical Support can also assist you to switch to 2KBILL from your previous processor.
